About the Project

The $392 million, 400,000-SF, United Airlines Terminal 7 Redevelopment Program is a comprehensive development program to redevelop Terminals 6, 7, and 8 at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). The program extended the useful life of the terminal, upgraded the baggage and passenger security screening facilities and modernized the customer service facilities. The terminal redevelopment program included the following components: Security Screening Checkpoint (SSCP) (including the United Club), SSCP Structure, Ticketing Checked Baggage Inspection System, Terminal 7 Concourse, Baggage Claim, Terminal 6 Concourse and Connector, Terminal 8 Concourse and Connector. A significant aspect of each of the above components is the refurbishment/replacement of the many systems that make up the infrastructure of the buildings.

TDA Consultants provided permit expediting and project approvals with the City of Los Angeles while also navigating through the various entitlements to obtain approvals through LAWA, the governing agency for the airport.
